Welcome to the Aruba Certification Program: A Deep Dive into Coral Reefs!

Throughout this course, we will explore various perspectives on how you can BE THE CHANGE TO SEA THE CHANGE.

This project is made possible by the TUI Care Foundation, De Palm Tours, and the ScubbleBubbles Foundation.
ScubbleBubbles is an NGO registered in Aruba that focuses on engaging locals, especially students, in ocean conservation and coral restoration. Established in 2018, ScubbleBubbles originated in 2016 as a school project at the International School of Aruba.

By taking this deep dive into Aruba’s corals, you will learn about the corals and coral reefs themselves, the threats they face, the restoration efforts underway, and how you can help protect them. 

This course is divided into two parts:

Part 1: Theoretical Portion.
This section consists of three modules:

  • Module 1: All About Corals
  • Module 2: Coral Reefs and Their Threats
  • Module 3: Coral Restoration

Part 2: Practical Portion

Here, you will gain hands-on experience in coral restoration. This part will be scheduled after you complete the theoretical portion online. Details regarding dates, times, and other information will be provided later.
